Field Service Engineer - Belgium

RED Global is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support key sites in Belgium (Courcelles, Beerse, and La Louvière). This is a 6-month contract, with potential for extension, starting ASAP.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 7-10 years in logistics, preferably in the Medical Devices industry.
• Languages: Proficiency in Flemish.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge across multiple technology service towers (server, storage, vitalisation, databases, WAN/LAN, MS Windows, etc.).
• Strong understanding of business logistics, warehouse operations, and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework, ISA 95, and ISA 99 standards.

Responsibilities:

• Act as SPOC/project lead for local projects and complex service requests (e.g., MES systems, network expansion).
• Manage site health, infrastructure, and applications, coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Oversee integration of plant equipment with IT platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Camstar, OSI PI, Werum).
• Track service metrics to ensure optimal site performance.
• Provide end-user services, including support for hardware, network, and collaboration tools.
