*** Senior DevOps Engineer - Initial 2 Month Contract with extension - Remote ***
On behalf of one of our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD pipeline setups, GitLab and MSSQL. The role requires a deep understanding of automated testing and deployment processes, and the ability to effectively transfer knowledge to the central data team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in effectively communicating security issues and solutions related to code to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in using GitLab for version control and repository management.
- Strong background in database management, specifically MSSQL.
- Proficiency in unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Windows server management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of conducting training sessions and creating detailed documentation.
- Ability to assess the impact of new technologies and processes on current system operations.
Nice to Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience with data warehouse technologies and operations.
- Knowledge of additional CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Experience in handling large-scale migration projects.
Candidates ideally will be based in Eastern Europe.
