The (cloud) Solution Architect will draft a solution intent (architecture) requiring coordination between multiple architects within the client environment. The architect is responsible for ensuring timely and budget-friendly implementation, while also participating in architecture and program meetings. The focus will be on high-security networks and environments.
The "Information Driven Operations" program aims to enhance the client data and information delivery to the armed forces, supporting strategic, operational, and tactical objectives. A Solution Architect is needed to help define and implement the architecture for this program.
Requirements:
- The candidate has at least 5 years of proven experience executing complex projects with many stakeholders within large operational organizations or international organizations with >1000 FTE.
- The candidate has at least 5 years of proven experience as an architect of ICT issues with an international scope.
- The candidate has at least 3 years of proven experience in developing a solution architecture.
- The candidate has a completed higher professional education (HBO).
- The candidate has a Prince2 Foundation certificate.
- The candidate has a TOGAF certificate.
- The candidate has demonstrable knowledge and experience with data, software, and IT infrastructure issues.
- The candidate has demonstrable knowledge and work experience in leading or coordinating architectural issues in the field of ICT.
- The candidate is a native Dutch speaker and has a Dutch passport.
Preferred qualifications:
- The candidate is used to working in an environment with many internal stakeholders, where building consensus is important.
- The candidate has knowledge and experience with the Agile Scaled Framework.
- The candidate has knowledge of a private cloud environment.
