RED Global is searching for a 1 LIMS Technical Business Analyst for a 6+ month duration contract project with a global pharmaceutical client. Please find the requirements below -
US or Canada based
Must have 1 LIMS technical experience
Working on implementation and enhancements of 1 LIMS
currently have 1 LIMS vendor providing tech services
Need a bridge between IT and Business
their platform is heavily customised, so 1 LIMS is essential
Work closely with Lab Informatics business users to suggest and provide solutions to business problems, opportunities or requirements.
Lead and participate in business planning, needs analysis and business risk assessment, process redesign; and consult with the internal customer on how to best support their area through the effective use of technology.
Independently manage business process analysis, process improvement and business requirements gathering from the internal customers and translate them to specific software requirements.
Update issue tracking systems to provide transparency to User Stories; assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
Prepare testable requirements (user stories) and use cases.
Build project plans, engage resources, and drive implementation projects to successful completion, meeting well defined requirements, managing scope and keeping within project schedules and budgets.
Provide ongoing change control, maintenance and end-user support for lab Informatics applications.
Prepare software development life cycle deliverables, such as functional specifications, design documents and test cases.
Plan and execute system, integration and acceptance testing.
Identify risks, potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
